A shadow teacher or educator primarily provides support to students with special needs in their academic development. A shadow Educator can identify the behavioral, academic, and social patterns of the student and help with drafting customized goals and plans to achieve those goals. A shadow Educator accompanies a student with social needs to the school and assists the child, helping them perform the tasks at school or the academic institution.
